Master of Science in Law Program
Welcome to the Champlain College Master of Science in Law online program! I appreciate this opportunity to tell you more about Champlain's unique approach to the study of law for non-lawyers.
The Master of Science in Law (MSL) degree is designed to help non-lawyers gain legal knowledge to increase their effectiveness and advance their careers. In a business and professional climate highly regulated and rich in legal dimensions, the law is so important that professionals need this advance understanding. The MSL degree helps professionals – managers, human resource workers, program directors, health professionals, policy makers and advocates – develop the skills to work confidently with the law and lawyers, and prevent needless litigation.
Content is only half of the equation, however. The other half is a faculty who will take you from an interest in the law to having a passion for the law. Our faculty consists of practicing attorneys who encourage open, inquiring, and disciplined discussion and learning, and who integrate the classroom with real-world experience.
I am so proud of this exciting curriculum, our extraordinary teachers, and our hardworking student population. Once again, welcome to Champlain College! Enter here – your gateway to cutting edge online learning of the law!
